Designed to survive impact and separate the integrity of the foundation from the post, the RS socket remains intact beyond the lifespan and yielding intent of passive safety posts. It then allows consecutive posts to be installed quickly and easily in the original RS socket, offering a safe, environmentally efficient and intelligent foundation solution.

Using RS sockets as part of passively safe post installations means there will be considerably less roadside maintenance required in the event of a post knockdown and replacement. In turn this means less men on site, less disruption to traffic and road users, less chances of further roadside accidents, less risk exposure to maintenance crews, less resources required to repair or reinstall the post and less cost.
