To realise the full potential of the RETENTION SYSTEM a range of innovative accessories such as the RS post installer for RS115 sockets, RS mobile plinths and RS quick release extractors are available. RS stump poles and other work tools for safe and precise post installation have also been developed.

RS post installer

The patented RS post installer for RS115 socket facilitates 'on-ground-level' installation and maintenance of posts and ensures correct post installation and safe work practices.

The RS post installer has been developed to manage the installation of traffic signal and similar posts in RS115 sockets.

RS mobile plinth

RS mobile plinths are ideal for roadworks and maintenance requiring temporary installation of traffic signals, lights and other posts.

RS sockets are pre-cast in secure concrete plinths for quick and convienient on-site use, reuse and easy transport

RS mobile plinths (PDF)

RS adapter

RS adapters are available for the ductile-iron and cast-steel RS socket range. They extend the capacity of the RS socket and allow additional size posts to be installed.

RS adapters reduce the internal diameter of the RS socket to match the external diameter of the installed post.

RS qre (quick release extractor)

RS qre (Quick Release Extractor) is designed for the reduction of deformation and swelling at the base of posts (typical after severe impact and post knockdown).

The RS qre assists with the quick release of posts from RS sockets.

RS drop kerb wedge

RS drop kerb wedges are designed for gradient installation locations. They allow for correct vertical level of the post with a flush ground finish.

RS drop kerb wedges are designed for use with the RS115 socket and are available as a single casting or two-part assembly for retro-fitting.

RS vertical levelling pole

RS vertical levelling poles are available for all RS sockets sizes. The stump pole is tightened in the RS socket during installation and ensures vertical level.

In addition the use of stump poles during installation eliminates the risk of damage to expensive street furniture.
